Audition Announcement!

We will be holding auditions for "Steel Magnolias" at Columbia Center for the Arts on July 14th at 1pm and July 15th at 6pm. It is not necessary to attend both days but it does give you the opportunity to read more and with different people.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. To get copies of the sides and a copy of the script please email director Ashly Will at ashlydwill@gmail.com (these will be available sometime in the next week).

We are also seeking a stage manager, lighting and sound operator, and designers for costumes, set, set decoration, lights, and sound. Please email me if you are interested in working backstage!

The show begins rehearsals July 22nd and will rehearse Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6pm-8pm. You must be available for a majority of rehearsals but some conflicts will be ok. The show runs September 13th, 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 27th, and 28th. Evening shows begin at 7:30 and matinees begin at 2pm.

Truvy (female, age range 35-45)

M'Lynn (female, age 45-55)

Ouiser (female, age 60+)

Clairee (female, age 60+)
