Open Studio Life & Potrait Classes

4th Friday of the Month: Life Drawing (nudes), 9am-12pm $12 per session
Classes Begin October 26
Artists: Join Columbia Center for the Arts for open studio sessions to paint or draw a live model. All skill levels are welcome. Easels and tables are provided; please bring your own supplies. Enjoy the camaraderie of working with other artists as you work to improve, hone or develop your skills.
Models: If you are interested in modeling for our portrait (clothed models) or life (nude) drawing open studio classes, please call Caroline Mead at; (541) 387-8877 x115 or
email firstname.lastname@example.org. Portrait models earn $40 per class and life drawing models earn $60 per class. Models will be asked to strike a series of shorter and longer poses so some physical stamina is required.

Notes to Artists
For oil painters, please use odorless mineral spirits, preferably Gamsol; please, no turpentine. Pastels are welcome; please be cautious about blowing the dust. Please do not photograph the model without permission. This should be discussed with the model privately, on a break or after session.
