Featuring artistic imperfections, artists’ 2nds, demos,
studies,
and overstock.
All art priced between $5 and $250.
Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday,
October 3rd, 2010
from 11am to 5pm
The 2 day event is a perfect time to find unique pieces that add character to your home or office, and that make great gifts for that person who appreciates handmade artwork.
The sale will feature artistic imperfections, artists’ 2nds, demos, studies, and overstock. 2nds are frequent occurrences for artists making high-end crafts. Uncontrollable elements through the firing process in glass and ceramics lead to unique creations.
Gallery Manager, Catherine Kiewit, says, “Often, artists experiment with new techniques, glazes, cooling time, etc to create one-of-a-kind work. These studio experiments are perfectly functional and beautiful and many of the “flaws” are really neat characteristics that the artist can’t use in a set, but are great individual treasures…totally worth collecting at good prices!”
All art will be priced to sell between $5 and $250.
